Oil, war, genocide, climate change...

I think the title of this blog is stupid and insensitive.
All true. But also think about the growing impetus against conflict as a solution, profound advances in providing food to a burgeoning population as well as advances in the fight against disease (albeit not widely spread enough), and momentum for action to avert catastrophic global warming.
As I have commented already on other articles on the subject of "Global Warming", I will again do likewise here in the hope of convincing the reader that we are concentrating our efforts in the wrong direction. Again, I will add some of my own opinions in this short article.

I believe the world is so engrossed with this "Global Warming" thing that the basic roots of human needs is placed in the backround...namely our "Global Pollution" and addressing its reversal. We had better open our eyes. On that note, I have written a few articles that I hope enlighten some.

Our Energy Conservation Dilemma
There is more than enough food .... for people who can afford it. That's the problem: the money obsession.
I attended the State of the Planet conference two years ago when the main topic was sustainable development. The outlook then was pretty pessimistic. I also attended this year’s event, and I agree that the outlook was much more optimistic this time. The prospects for Sub-Saharan Africa was an exception to this though. I posted more detailed comments on this conference at http://www.provocativefuture.blogspot.com/
