  • A couple of things:
1: where is the engine and/or TREMENDOUS amount of batteries to haul tonnage around
2: the picture in the link where it is uloading down a cliff would result in the truck tumbling head first down the hill once its C.G. moved far enough forward that the rear wheels cannot prove enough traction. Either way it is a heck of a ride for the driver.
3: nothing powers the hydraulic pumps/it has no accumulators...the hydraulic rams run on magic.
    4: How does it steer?
5: How is the driver going to enjoy being hoisted around all the time just to dump?
6: This is what it takes to win a design contest? seriously? WTF. I know design is different from engineering, but how can you look at that and say, "oh well done, nice design" unless you work for hotwheels. I guess that is why the design is being presented at the furnature fair instead of minexpo.

  • The true test of course, like any new vehicle like this; can it make money for it's owner?

  • I guess it would only dump sideways if you don't mind it rolling over the dumped payload when it drives off.
